Dr Kishani Weerasena brings more than 16 years of clinical experience to our practice. She provides holistic, comprehensive and compassionate care to her local community.

Dr Weerasena has experience working in both the hospital setting and General Practice and also provides care to patients in local aged care facilities.

She has a particular passion for caring for the elderly and provides compassionate care to improve their quality of life. She manages patient health and well-being in a proactive manner, seeking to prevent serious illness wherever possible. Where prevention is not possible, Dr Weerasena has extensive experience in managing chronic diseases, and will explore all available treatment options to get the best outcome for her patients.

Womens health, including reproductive and sexual health

She has advanced qualifications in womens health and child health, and enjoys caring for women of all ages. She also provides family planning services, and reproductive and sexual health consultations

Infant and child health

Dr Weerasena provides care to children of all ages and strives to achieve the best outcome in improving their health.

Accompanying her extensive medical knowledge, she brings comfort and great empathy to her consultations.

Dr Weeraseena's love for coastal living has drawn her to the beautiful South Coast area. In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with with her dogs, gardening and walks along the beach.
